Spring is a wonderful time to learn about the life cycle of some of the local critters. Newts, frogs, owls, and squirrels are native to the trail and are super cool!

A Perfect Party for Trees
Trusty Sidekick has been crafting worlds for neurodiverse audiences and their caregivers for nearly a decade. For the first time, they have created a story for this audience that is designed to be experienced outside of a theater. A Perfect Party for Trees takes audiences on an outdoor promenade adventure — at The ANT! Just eight shows are planned here in 2023. They are FREE, but each performance is limited to a total of 14 people in attendance.
Exploring is super fun but also requires skill. Come and learn how to use navigation techniques on the trail such as maps, compasses, and nature itself to guide the way. Create your own map of the trail to take home!
Calling all art lovers! Come and paint, sketch or photograph along the trail and capture the beauty in your own way. Art stations will be available to help hikers express themselves and their feelings on The ANT.
Grab a bug catcher at the start of your hike and see what cool bugs and insects you can find. Look under rocks, branches, and around logs to see what may be hiding. Compare what you find with other friends along the hike!
The Autism Nature Trail is open to all, when Letchworth State Park is open. Hours may vary by season. Check the calendar to find out when events are scheduled.
