Exploring is super fun but also requires skill. Come and learn how to use navigation techniques on the trail such as maps, compasses, and nature itself to guide the way. Create your own map of the trail to take home!
Take some time to explore some of the local rocks. They tell us so much about the land and who was here before us. Have some fun using a magnifying glass to explore and maybe see some fossils!
How old are the trees? Trees have birthdays also! Come explore with the Camp Puzzle Peace staff to learn how to tell how old a tree is. Take our Tree Dating Challenge and check to see how many you can get correct!
Grab a bug catcher at the start of your hike and see what cool bugs and insects you can find. Look under rocks, branches, and around logs to see what may be hiding. Compare what you find with other friends along the hike!
The Autism Nature Trail is open to all, when Letchworth State Park is open. Hours may vary by season. Check the calendar to find out when events are scheduled.
